Ozone Wastewater/sewage Treatment
Need of ETP
Organic waste materials such as biocides and drugs are contaminated. Many of these contaminants threaten the water ecosystem and human health and become an important problem. Many plants and enterprises are experiencing significant difficulties in elimin ating these micro-pollutants by classical methods and are entering high costs.
Compared to other conventional treatment systems, ozone for water treatment applications have proven their effectiveness under many different conditions and are an economical and energy-efficient solution for management.
Ozone is used to treat drinking water in over 2,000 installations around the world. Ozone is a powerful disinfectant that can be used to treat municipal and industrial wastewater, allowing the end user to meet pre-treatment standards. Ozone is effective in the treatment of a wide range of complex, toxic chemicals.
However, for some compounds, combining ozone treatment with ultraviolet light or hydrogen peroxide may be required to increase reaction time. The amount of ozone required to treat a specific chemical compound, as well as the required contact time, will differ.
